Basundi is an Indian sweet mostly in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. It is made by boiling milk on low heat until the milk is reduced by half and collect the malai from sides add sugar as per taste finally add saffron, nuts etc. This dessert everyone likes very much and good for summer season. This Dessert very favourite recipe for my family I used to make it every weekend..
Ingredients:
Milk - 1 litre bring to boil collect the malai from sides
Add Saffron reduced milk into half
Sugar - 1/3 cup
Badam, Cashew nuts- 5 to 6 pieces, Cardamom - 4 make it powder
Finally Add sliced badam and broken cashews
Serve it hot or chill
