Chicken Balti is delicious chicken curry stir-fried in balti pot, or flat-bottomed wok, with peppers and onion. It goes well with naan and rice .So watch and learn how to make Balti Chicken at home only on Get Curried.

Ingredients
– 3 tbsp Oil
– 2 tbsp Whole spices (10 peppercorns, 6 cloves, 1 blade mace, 8 green cardamons, 1 inch cinnamon, 2 black cardamons)
– 2 Onions chopped
-2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
– 1 tsp turmeric
– 1 tsp red chilli powder
– 1 tsp salt
– 1 tsp coriander powder
– 3 chopped tomatoes
-1 whole chicken, cut into medium pieces
– 200 gms Dahi/Curd
Salt to taste
1lite of water

Method
– In a pan add the oil, whole mixed spices and saute them for 30 seconds
– Add chopped onion and cook on moderate heat till they thurn light brown
– Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 30 seconds then add turmeric, red chilli powder, salt and coriander powder mix it until it cooks properly
– Add the tomatoes stir it properly then add curd and stir until the masala is ready.
– Add chicken pieces and mix it.
– Add some water and cover it with lid on and let it cook for 15-20 minutes
– Garnish it with coriander and Balti Chicken is ready to be served.
