Alle Belle is a traditional Goan recipe made with jaggery and freshly coconut. Mostly it is served at Tea time. It is healthy and tasty dish.

Ingredients & Quantity

For Pancake batter

Refined Flour (Sieved) – 125 Gms
Salt – 1/4 Tsp
Egg – 1 No
Milk – 100 Ml

For Stuffing

Freshly Grated Coconut – 100 Gms
Goan Palm Jaggery – 100 Gms
Cardamon Powder – 1/2 Tsp
Water – 30 ml

Method,

First prepare the pancake batter
1) Take a bowl and add refined flour, salt, egg in it and make a thin pancake batter by adding milk. you can more milk depending on the consistency of your batter.

Stuffing,

2) In a vessel add jaggery, grated coconut and water, cook on low flame.
3) Cook till all mixture comes together and the cardamon powder. leave this mixture aside.

Preparing the Pancakes/Crepes,

4) Grease a pan with clarified butter (Ghee), pour some batter in it, cook for 1 mins and remove in a plate.

Assembling the Pancakes/Crepes,

5) Take the pancake and put 2 tbsp of stuffing in the center, roll from the sides, overlap the sides on the first fold, roll again till you reach the end of pancake, enjoy with a hot cup of tea.
