Ingredients:
Boneless chicken 300 gm
Oil 2 tbsp
Wooden skewers
First Marinade:
Salt to taste
Black Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Second Marinade:
Green chilies 6
Cashew nuts 8
Coriander leaves 1/4 cup chopped
Hung yogurt 1/2 cup
Cream 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Garam Masala powder 1 tsp
Method:
1. Marinate chicken with salt, pepper, ginger garlic paste and lemon juice. Set this aside for 30 min.
2. Soak the wooden skewers in water for at least 1 hr.
3. Blend together green chilies, cashew nuts and coriander leaves into a fine paste.
4. To a bowl add hung yogurt, cream, salt to taste, garam masala powder, green chili paste (step 3), and mix well.
5. Coat the chicken with this marinade and rest for at least 2 hr.
6. Thread the chicken to the wooden skewers.
7. Heat a griddle on medium flame and add oil.
8. Place the chicken skewers on the griddle and cook on each side for about 3 to 4 min or until chicken is cooked through.
9. Serve with green chutney or chili mayonnaise sauce.
