Easy & quick chicken recipe | Chicken jhatpat | ଚିକେନ ଭଜା | Chicken recipe | Khane से Matlab


You might have come across many delicious chicken recipes across continents. But what if we tell you that we can have the tenderness of chicken, the softness of egg, the smell of curry leaves, the best parts of ginger, garlic, capsicum all in one recipe; yet it consumes less time to prepare than our regular chicken masala. Let’s introduce “Chicken Jhatpat”, prepared in a unique way,it looks good, smells better and tastes the best. Please watch the video till the end to get the aroma! Do like, share & comment so that taste buds of your loved ones would also be able to feel its simplicity & delicacy. Ingredients: 01. Chicken -500 gm 02. Mustard oil -1½ tbsp 03. Chopped green chilli -1 04. Onion cubes -1 medium size 05. Capsicum cubes -1 small size 06. Chopped ginger -1 inch 07. Chopped garlic -8 cloves 08. Curry leaves 09. Tomato slices -1 small size 10. Pepper powder -½ tsp 11.Turmeric powder -½ tsp 12. Garam masala -¼ tsp 13. Chilli powder -1 tsp 14. Coriander powder -1 tsp 15. Salt to taste 16. Tomato ketchup -2 tbsp 17. Eggs -2 units Procedure: 01. Add mustard oil to the pan; heat until it smokes gently and turns pale yellow. 02. Add chopped ginger & chopped garlic, fry it for 1 min. 03. Add chopped chilli, fry all together for another 30 sec. 04. Add onion cubes, fry it till it becomes transparent. Then add curry leaves. 05. Add chicken & fry it for sometime. 06. Cover the lid & cook it for 5-7 minutes. 07. Add salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder & coriander powder. 08. Coat the chicken properly with all the spices and fry it for sometime. 09. Cover the lid. Let the chicken be cooked with it’s own juice. 10. Fry the chicken till oil separates. After that add eggs. 11. Mix it well & cover the lid for sometime. 12. Add tomato slices, capsicum cubes; mix it well & fry it for some time. 13. Add tomato ketchup, chilli sauce & mix it well. 14. Cover the lid and cook it for sometime. 16. You may add water here, in case required. 17. When the chicken is cooked properly add pepper powder & garam masala. 18. Cover the lid for another 2 minutes.
