One of the most popular, traditional, and authentic recipes from Pakistan. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1y5_UhTHOFJd5CwDEIzSbA Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tastyfusion1/ Follow us on Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/tasty_fusion/ Check out our website: https://tastyfusion2019.wixsite.com/channel Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tastyfusion1 Traditional Beef Kofta / Meat Balls Ingredients for Kofta: Beef 600 g Minced Onion 1 medium Garlic 6-8 Cloves Ginger 2 inches Green Chillies 2-3 Gram Flour 3tbsp Coriander seeds 1 tbsp Cumin seeds 1 tbsp Garam Masala 1 tsp Poppy seeds 1 tbsp Red Chili Powder or chili flakes 1tbsp Crushed pomegranate seeds 1 tsp Butter 1 tbsp heaped Salt 1tsp or to taste Egg 1 Cooking oil 1 Cup Cilantro: ¼ bunch To prepare Kofta or meatballs, follow these steps: Step 1: Dry roast gram flour and set aside Step2: Dry roast the cumin and coriander seeds and crushed them Step 3: Cut onion, ginger, garlic, green chilies, and cilantro and chopped them Step 4: In a large bowl, add minced beef, all dry ingredients, egg, chopped vegetables, roasted gram flour, and butter. Mix well and refrigerate this mixture for an hour. Now make meatballs or koftas with this material in a dish and set again into the fridge Note: When to start making meet balls put some cooking oil on hands to form a good shape Gravy for Koftay: Ingredients: Onion 1 large Tomatoes 3-4 Yogurt 1 cup Cooking oil 1 cup Ginger paste 1 tbsp Garlic paste ½ tbsp Black Cardamom 3-4 Green Cardamom 4 Bay leaves 2 Cloves 6-8 Cumin seeds 1 tbsp Turmeric powder1 tsp Red chili powder 1 tsp Coriander powder 1 tbsp Salt 1 tsp Garam Masala 1 tsp Water 2-3 cups Recipe: Step 1: In a pan, heat the oil and add sliced onion into it until they turn golden brown Take the fried onions out from the oil and set aside Step 2: In a blender add the fried onion and yogurt to make a paste Step3: Blend the tomatoes into puree Step 4: In same oil now add black and green cardamom, bay leaves and cloves to fry Now add tomato puree into the oil and let it cook till oil release from the puree Add ginger and garlic paste and let it cook more One by one add all dry ingredients and stir occasionally At this stage pour the onion and yogurt mixture Let it cover for 5 to 7 minutes on medium flame to cook Once gravy separates the oil stir for 2 to 3 minutes and adds water till it starts boiling Add meatballs (Koftay) into it and cover it again until the meatballs (Koftay) fully cooked Here stir the meatballs again for a minute or so and keep the gravy according to your desire This recipe can be served with naan, paratha or rice.
