Butter Chicken, Methi Chicken , Chicken Chettinad , Chicken Curry, and Chicken Fry Recipes in Instant Pot 1.Butter Chicken in Instant Pot Ingredients : Boneless Chicken - 2 lbs Butter - 3 Tablespoon Onion - 1 (medium size ) - chop into big pieces Tomatoes - 3 (medium size) - chop into cubes ( used cluster tomatoes) Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tablespoon Kashmiri Chilli Powder - 3 teaspoons Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 teaspoon Kasuri Methi - 1 teaspoon Cashews - 1/4 cup Cream (Heavy Whipping Cream ) - 1/2 cup Salt Coriander leaves Water - 1 cup Marinate Chicken pieces : Chicken , Turmeric Powder , Kashmiri Chilli Powder ( 1 tsp) ,Salt Mix Above all and keep aside. Procedure : On Saute , Add : Butter - 2 tbs Marinated Chicken Pieces - Fry chicken for 5 minutes (till they turn light golden color on both sides) When done, Take chicken pieces out and keep aside, In Same Pot , again Add :Butter - 1 tbs, Onion pieces - Saute - till onions turn translucent and Add :Ginger garlic paste - saute just - 10 seconds Add :Tomato cubes,Cashews,Kashmiri chilli powder ( 2 tsp),Garam masala powder,Saltand Mix Well. Cancel Saute, Close the lid and Seal the vent Manual - 3 minutes Pressure - HIGH Release - Quick Release When done, Cancel and release pressure , and cool down slightly, now Blend using hand blender or ( take this mixture out and blend Add Water - 1 cup while blending,Blend into a smooth paste Now ,Add Fried chicken pieces,Kasuri Methi and Mix well. again ,Close the lid and seal the vent Manual - 5 minutes Pressure - HIGH Release - Quick Release When Pressure is release, then Add :Cream (Heavy Whipping Cream) (Or) Coconut Milk Coriander Leaves Mix Well Serve with Rice (or) Flavored Rice (or) Roti (or) Naan… 2. Methi Chicken in Instant Pot Ingredients : 1. Chicken - 2 lbs 2. Methi Leaves - 1 bunch ( or) 2 cups 3. Onions - 2 ( Medium Size ) 4. Tomatoes - 2 Procedure : Step : 1 On Saute , Add :Oil - 2 Tablespoons Onions Sliced - Saute Onions till they turn brown Add :Tomatoes - chopped ,Cashews - 8-10 - Cook for 3 minutes When tomatoes are half cooked , then Cancel Saute Cool down cooked onion & tomato, take it out and blend in to smooth paste. Step : 2 Again on Saute , Add Oil - 1 Teaspoon, Methi leaves ( washed ) Saute a minute. Add , Onion & Tomato paste Yogurt - 2 Tablespoons Ginger garlic paste - 1 & 1/2 Teaspoons Turmeric powder - 1/2 Teaspoon Coriander powder - 1 Teaspoon Cumin powder - 1/2 Teaspoon Chili powder - 1 Teaspoon ( Kashmiri chili powder ) Garam masala powder - 1/4 Teaspoon Mix well. Add :Chicken - 2 lbs, water - 1/4 cup ,Mix well. Cancel Saute. then Close lid & Seal Poultry (or) Manual (or) Pressure cook - 10 minutes Release - Quick (or) Natural Release When Pressure is released , open and add coriander leaves. 3. Chicken Curry in Instant Pot || Chicken Korma in Instant Pot Recipe : Step : 1 Cashew nuts - 1 Tablespoon Poppy Seeds - 1 Teaspoon Add Water and soak for 20 minutes For Ground Paste, Ginger - 1/4 cup , Garlic Cloves - 4 ( or) add Ginger garlic paste - 1 Tablespoon Soaked Cashews & Poppy Seeds Yogurt - 2 Tablespoons Make a fine Paste and keep aside . On the Saute mode: Add Oil - 2 Tablespoons Onions -2 (chopped) Green Chillies - 2 (slit) Saute Onions till they turn light brown, and Add Ground Paste , saute for a Minute Add Chicken - 2 lbs, Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder - 2 Teaspoons Cumin powder - 1 & 1/2 Teaspoons Garam Masala powder - 1/4 Teaspoon Chilli Powder - 1 Teaspoon Salt Water - 1/4 cup Mix well and cancel the Saute Mode . Close the lid and Seal Set Time :Poultry : 10 Minutes (or) Manual - 10 minutes (or) Pressure Cook - 10 minutes Release : Natural Release (or) Release after 10 minutes when done cancel and open the lid when pressure is released Naturally,Add coriander Leaves. 4.
