Hyderabadi Green Chicken is a famous recipe of Hyderabad made during marriages and Functions. It is made using various spice, yogurt and a paste of roasted nuts. METHOD 1.Chicken - 750 gram 2.To the chicken pieces add Black pepper powder - 1 teaspoon Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon Cardamom powder - 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoon Salt - as required Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon Yogurt - 200 gram Green food colour - 3 pinches (optional) Grind few coriander leaves, mint leaves and green chilies - 6 add this paste to chicken Mix these ingredients well and keep aside 3.Now let us make another paste , for this we need Deep fried onions - 2 medium sized Roasted Pistachios - 20 Roasted Cashew nuts - 15 Roasted Almonds - 20 Grind this into a fine paste using little water Add this paste also to the marinated chicken And marinate it for 2 hours in refrigerator 4.Heat oil - 3 tablespoon To it add Cinnamon - 2 sticks Cloves - 4 Caraway seeds - 1/2 teaspoon Saute for 10 seconds 5.Roast it under high flame for 5 to 8 minutes then lower the flame and cook till chicken turns tender 6.Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or chapati
