I'm a fan of goulash in all its forms, and there are many. A simple and tasty recipe for a traditional beef goulash.
Ingredients:
Oil
3 pcs white onion
6 cups beef stock
6 cups beef cubes
2 tbsp paprika
2 tbsp tomatoe puree
Salt
Black pepper
4 pcs potatoes
5 pcs garlic gloves
2 pcs chili pepper
2 tsp marjoram
Method:
Heat oil in a casserole dish or heavy-based saucepan.
Add in the onion and sauté until softenes. Than add little bit of beef stock and sauté till the stock is out.
Add beef cubes and more oil if needed. Cook, stirring, for 5 minutes.
Add paprika and tomatoe puree. Mix it together. And add also salt and black pepper depends on your taste.
Add beef stock, garlic, chili and potatoes.
Cook for 3 hours.
If needed add more salt and black pepper.
Finally add marjoram.
Serve hot with bread.
