Breakfast Salad may not be hugely appealing until you take that first taste. For me, I believe breakfast is a critical meal and it sets the pace for the rest of the day. When you combine great quality fats and greens, I find it provides something unique and satiating. Not only that it’s sustaining and blood sugar balancing which means fewer energy dips and the need for stimulants to take over.
Mackerel Salad Recipe:
A large handful of lettuce
1 Avocado
1 tbsp/generous portion sauerkraut
1 tbsp of Pumpkin and sunflower seeds
Olive oil
Lemon juice
Mackerel Dressing: 3- 4 tsp olive oil, a pinch of sea salt, (1/2 tsp of honey), 2 tsp of squeezed lemon
