It is one of the well known and all time favorite karahi from Pakistani cuisine. I believe that none of the Pakistani kitchen is deprived of this special karahi specially on Eid al Adha.
Most easy and simple recipe with beef and aromatic Pakistani spices. I am going to give you the recipe for restaurant style beef karahi . It consists of boneless beef , onion , ginger garlic , tomatoes , green chili , yogurt and aromatic spices. The dish can be served and eaten with roti, paratha or naan.
Let’s learn how to make delicious beef karahi step by step complete recipe :
Ingredients:
• Oil 3-4 Tbsp
• Beef 750 Grams
• Tomato 3-4
• Onion (Large) 1
• Ginger Garlic Paste 1 Tbsp
• Green Chili 3-4
• Julienne Cut Ginger 1 Tbsp
• Yogurt 4 Tbsp
• Water As Required
• Black Pepper 1 Tsp
• Salt To Taste
• Red Chili Powder 1/2 Tsp
• Coriander Powder 1 Tbsp
• Turmeric Powder ¼ Tsp
• Cumin Powder 1 Tsp
• All Spices Powder 1 Tsp
Method:
• Put a pot on medium flame
• Add beef and water , cover and cook until beef done
• Put a wok on high flame
• Add and heat oil
• Add onion and fry until golden brown
• Add ginger garlic paste and cook 1-2 minutes
• Add beef and tomatoes , mix , cover and cook until tomatoes done
• Add yogurt and mix
• Add black pepper , red chili powder , cumin powder , turmeric powder , coriander powder , salt , mix well , cook until water dry and oil separate
• Add all spices powder , green chili , julienne cut ginger ,mix well
• Beef Karahi is ready
