Yedi Sous Vide Cooker | Beet Salad RECIPE (2019)


Get creative with your Yedi Houseware Sous Vide and make this delicious Aromatic Beet Salad with Yogurt and Chile Verde!!! Recipe below: Ingredients: • Medium-sized beets, as needed • Salt, as needed • Olive oil, as needed • Citrus zest (optional), as needed • Thyme and mint (optional), as needed • Green chillies • Greek yogurt, as needed • Honey (optional) • Goat cheese • Betabel Chips Directions: For tender and sweet beets—great in a salad with goat cheese—it’s recommended to set your Yedi Sous Vide to 185 °F / for 3 hours of cook time. Slice off the ends of the beets, peel, then slice each in half lengthwise (peeling beets gives them a sweeter, brighter flavor). Add halved beets along with a little salt. Drizzle in a little olive oil, and add citrus zest, fresh thyme, and mint. Add the seasoned beets into a sous vide bag and seal the bag and remove all air with the Yedi vacuum pump. Drop the bag in the water with the sous vide and cook for three hours at 185 °F. Serve with fresh mint, honey, goat cheese, salt, yogurt and the spicy factor, chile verde.
