Green smoothies are a great way to get a lot of fruits and veggies (and thus nutrients!) in your belly, in their whole form. Green smoothies are also an excellent first step if you are looking to make changes to your diet, to add more fruits and veg. They are easy to digest, very quick to make and perfect for the busy lifestyles of 99% of the population - they are perfect travel companions! This smoothie is made with ALL my favorite ingredients and is my go to power smoothie. It has greens, it has citrus, it has apple, it has my favorite mint+ginger combo, it has filling ingredients such as oats, quinoa and chia seeds aaaand my definite favorite - spirulina!
