Ingredients:
Peach Sandesh:
• 1 Peach
• 1 tbsp Water
• 1 tsp Lemon Juice
• 3 tbsp Sugar Syrup
Chenna:
• 1/2 tsp Citric Acid
• 1/2 cup Lukewarm Water
• 1 ltr Milk
• 1 tsp Sugar
• 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
• 1-2 tsp Fresh Cream
Almond Nougat:
• 1 cup Brown Sugar
• 1 tbsp Butter
• 200 gms Almonds
Candied Peanuts:
• 2 cup Thick Sugar Syrup
• 1 cup Roasted Peanuts
• 1 tsp Salt
• 1 tsp Black Pepper
Method
Layered Peach Sandesh
1. For making the chenna, take a pan and add a litre of milk in it. Boil it for some time.
2. Once it comes to a boil, put some citric acid (made by mixing water) and stir it with the milk.
3. Strain the contents in the pan with the help of a strainer and then keep it to cool.
4. Now take a bowl, add the chenna mixture along with some sugar. Press it nicely.
5. Pour vanilla extract, some fresh cream and mix it together. It’s Ready.
6. Take another bowl, add sliced peach, little water, lemon juice and sugar syrup.
7. Mix and marinate it for about an hour.
8. To assemble, take a glass tray, keep the base of almond nougat, second layer is of chenna and third layer is of the sliced peaches.
Almond Nougat
1. Take a kadhai, add brown sugar, butter and let it get caramelized.
2. Put a bowl full of chopped almonds and mix it together. The procedure for Candied Nuts is done.
3. To use it as a base for Sandesh, in a mixer jar, add the mixture in order to coarsely grind it.
