Chicken Biryani recipe is a delicious savoury rice dish that is loaded with spicy marinated chicken, caramelised onions, and flavourful rice. For my Biryani, I simplify the order of operations, while retaining the traditional layered approach to assembling it.
A family favourite, this easy chicken biryani is not too spicy and easy to make for a comforting weeknight supper.
Ingredients for marinade Chicken
2 and half kg chicken
2 tablespoons yogurt
1 tablespoons ginger garlic powder
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon all spices
2 tablespoons dry coriander powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon black pepper powder
5 tablespoons vinegar
Pinch red food colour
Ingredients for boiling Rice
Rice 6 glass
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
2 bey leaves
2 cinnamon sticks
3 black cardamom
10 cloves
15 black pepper
4 tablespoons vinegar
Ingredients for chicken korma for biryani
Marinated Chicken
4 tablespoons ginger garlic
2 medium onion
2 medium tomatoes
2 green chilli
1 packet biryani masala
4 tablespoons kewra water
Yellow food colour
2 cup fresh green coriander
2 tablespoons fenugreek leaves
