Learn how to make Chicken banjara recipe at home. This authentic recipe has been taken from the banjara people and the style of cooking is similar in which they make chicken curry in their small homes. Banjaras are mostly nomads and they keep moving from one place to another without proper homes. When Ravi went to Udaipur, he met "Shakti Singh", a Banjara of Rajasthan origin in India. Ravi learned this chicken curry recipe from him. Try and Enjoy!!
Ingredients:-
1. Desi Chicken/ Country Chicken (चिकन) - 600 gm
2. Poppy Seeds / Khas Khas (खसखस) - 50 gm
3. Ginger Paste (अदरक का पेस्ट) - 30 gm or 2.5 tbsp
4. Gram / Chana (चना) - 30 gm
5. Coriander Leaves (धनिये के पत्ते) - 40 gm
6. Green Chilli (हरी मिर्च) - 6
7. Garam Masala - Tejpaan (1) + Black Pepper/Kali Mirch (Big) (2) + Cardamom Stick Small (1) + Cloves/Laung (5) + Kali Mirch (Small) (5)
8. Tomato Puree (टमाटर की प्यूरी) - 3
9. Chopped Onion (कटे हुए प्याज) - 3
10. Salt to taste (नमक)
11. Red Chilli Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) - 1.25 tbsp
12. Garlic (लहसुन) - 6
13. Jeera (जीरा) - 5 gm or 1 Tsp
14. Turmeric / Haldi (हल्दी) - 1/2 tbsp
