Ingredients
1 1/2 oz baby spinach
1 Persian cucumber
1 pear - chopped
1 lime - juiced
1 bunch mint
1 cup water
1 cup ice
While citrus fruits like limes are known for their high amount of vitamin C per serving, cucumbers are also rich in vitamin C, as well as anti-inflammatory compounds and fiber. The healthy fiber continues with pear, which is also high in antioxidants. When these light ingredients are combined with stomach-soothing mint, and ample vitamins and minerals from spinach (folate, calcium, iron and vitamin K to name a few), they create a low calorie smoothie that provides a gentle detox for both your digestion and complexion.
