Chicken Tortilla Soup
Combo 1 Boiled Chicken
Boiled Chicken Recipe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzSKmtNPj88
Save 3 Cups of Chicken Broth
Combo 2 Chili tomato sauce
4-6 Chiles of Choice (I like 4 Ancho and 2 Guajillo)
1-2 Tomatoes of choice
1/2 White or Yellow Onion
2-3 Garlic Cloves
2 Cups of the chili Water
You can use ancho, Guajillo, California, or pasilla chiles.
Boil the chiles in 2-3 cups of water for 10-15 Minutes
Blend as shown in the video
Combo 3
Corn tortillas of choice
Enough Oil to Fry
Salt
You can even make the tortilla chips with maseca as I showed you all in the Huevos rancheros kid-friendly version. Cut them up and fry them to a golden tone.

Chicken Tortilla Soup
3 Cups of Chicken Broth
Chiles Sauce
1-2 Chicken pieces of choice Or 2 Cups of Shredded Chicken
1/2 Tsp Ground Cumin
Salt to taste
Optional Cilantro and epazote
Tips-
*Canned chicken broth will work. If you find you need some assistance in the flavor profile. Help yourself with a little chicken bouillon.
*If you don’t have fresh tomato, Use 1 small can of tomato sauce
*if you don’t have fresh garlic or onion, Use powder garlic and onion
*1 Tsp Garlic Powder
* 1/2 Tbs Onion Powder
*If you have Santa Crus Chili paste use 1/4 Cup instead of the chili blend
