How To Light a Propane Gas Grill

Find hundreds of grilling recipes: http://www.myrecipes.com/summer-grilling/ Start by turning the valve on the top of the propane tank counterclockwise. Open the grill, turn one of the burners on. You might have a knob with ignite on it. If so use it and press it in until the grill lights. If you have a separate ignition button or switch, press it instead. If the grill doesn't light, turn off the propane. Once the gas has cleared, turn the gas back on and use a long safety lighter to light through the hole on the side of your grill. Don't stand over the grill looking into it while trying to ignite it.
