This traditional sliced steak dish is usually a part of every East-Indian festive meal. Pre-cooking the meat in its own juice retains the flavours and enriches the dish.

In a cooker
6 tsp Oil
750 Gms Beef.
1 tsp Pepper pwd
Salt to taste
(No closing the cooker)
In the same cooker
6 tsp Oil
3 Big onions sliced
4 Chillies sliced
10 Garlic cloves sliced
1 ½ in. Ginger sliced
1 tsp Pepper pwd
¾ tsp Turmeric pwd
Salt to taste
1 cup Water
5 tsp vinegar
Fried Potato slices to be added at the time of serving.
