How to Make Gravy with Pan Drippings


Make a perfect gravy with pan drippings from a beef roast, turkey, or chicken. To make the gravy whisk together 2 tablespoons unsalted butter and 2 tablespoons flour until smooth and all the clumps are gone. Slowly add in the pan drippings from your roast or bird whisking continuously. Bring to a boil until fully incorporated. If necessary, whisk in additional beef or chicken stock to thin out the gravy until desired consistency is achieved. Add freshly minced Thyme and rosemary and season to taste with salt and pepper.
