If you enjoy cooking Pakistani food and are looking for recipes, videos of LIVE shows, totkas, and other food stories in both Urdu and English, subscribe to this YouTube channel @ https://bit.ly/3ac5djo or go to our website: https://www.masala.tv/ #masalatv #food #masalarecipes #recipe #eveningwithshireen #shireenanwar #dinnerrecipe #lunchrecipe #cooking #fastfood #desifood ------------------------------------------ BONELESS CHICKEN GRAVY Ingredients Boneless chicken ½ kg cubes Button red chilies 4 Cashew nuts 6 Cloves 4 Cardamoms 4 Cinnamon 1 stick Tomatoes 2 [Roast all on tawa and grind dry to a powder then add in it tomato and blend well.] Other Ingredients Whole spices mixed 1 tsp Oil ¼ cup Turmeric ½ tsp Chili powder 2 tsp Coriander powder 1 tsp Cumin 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Brown onion grounded 2 tbsp heaped METHOD Heat oil, add whole spices with chicken cubes, fry for 5 mins, add dry spices, fry well till oil floats on top, add in grounded masala with blended tomatoes, cook for 10 mins, lastly add brown onion, ½ cup water, cook till oil comes on top, serve garnished with coriander leaves. ------------------------------------------ LEMON BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE TRIFLE Ingredients Biscuits crushed 1 cup Digestive biscuits crushed ½ cup Sweet biscuits crushed 1 cup Chopped almonds ½ cup Brown sugar 3 cup Melted butter 4 ounces Ingredients for Cheesecake Custard Vanilla pudding mix 2 cups (make as per packet instruction) Cream cheese 300 gm Condensed milk ½ cup Lemon juice 3 tbsp Lemon essence few drops Tetra pack cream 1 cup Whipped cream 1 ½ cup Blueberry pie filling ½ to ¾ tin for topping METHOD Heat butter in a pan, and toast chopped almonds, add all the biscuit crumbs and sugar and toast till crumbs give a nice smell, as soon as the pudding sets, add it to the mixing bowl and start beating it on high speed till the pudding gets nice and smooth, add in tetra pack cream, continue beating, add in condensed milk and cream cheese, add lemon juice and essence. Finally fold in the whipped cream. In a trifle dish spread a layer of toasted biscuit crumbs, then spread the layer of cream mixture, then spread a layer of blueberry pie filling, finally add a layer of whipped cream on top and sprinkle some more toasted biscuit crumbs, serve chilled.
