(Bakels is a bakery grade cake premix. SOFT SPONGE CAKE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDhEe8Z_SwI&t=17s AMERICAN BUTTERCREAM RECIPE (great under fondant): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLFQmnNtc8k SHORTENING BASED BUTTERCREAM (not ideal under fondant, but great for warmer conditions): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elxRoPGOBPQ ULTIMATE GANACHE RECIPES: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PCyaBqAzTk OOZZING NUTELLA MUD CAKE RECIPE: This fits 2x 7 inch cakes or 2x6 inch cakes with a little left over 260 grams butter 260 grams dark chocolate 190 ml water 2 tsp hazelnut flavouring or a tablespoon and a half of nutella 3 tsp instant coffee granules 500 grams caster sugar 1 cup buttermilk 10 tablespoon vegetable oil 4 eggs 160 grams self raising flour 160 grams plain flour 1/2 tsp baking soda 60 grams cocoa powder pinch salt Nutella ooze and drip: 4 tablespoons Nutella 1/4 cup of vegetable oil or canola oil. generally an oil that is pale and practically tasteless I hope you guys enjoyed this one as much as I enjoyed making it :D This is a very rich treat, so maybe slice this up a little thinner than you normally would haha. The coffee is in this recipe to enhance the flavour of the chocolate.
