Recipe and ingredients:
3 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tbsp water
(off heat) stir until dissolved
turn on the heat to medium-low
caramelized until amber in color
transfer to the baking pan or mold
set it aside
2 eggs
1/4 cup sugar
354 ml hot evaporated milk
add gradually
vanilla 1 tsp (optional but recommended)
stir and strain 3x
add paper towel into the pan
hot water
cover the flan mixture with aluminum foil
set the stove into low heat
cover and cook for 35-45 min
let it cool and refrigerate 2-4 hrs
