One of my favorite guilty pleasure foods when my parents used to own a Chinese buffet. Enjoy!
Ingredients
1 pound of chicken needed!
marinade:
-dash of salt
-1/2 tsp white pepper
-1/2 tsp sugar
-1 tbsp corn starch + 1 tbsp of water
-2 egg whites
-1 pound of chicken, cubed
batter:
-1/2 cup flour
-1/2 cup corn starch
-1/2 tsp baking powder
-1 egg
-water (around 1/3 cup)
sauce:
-2 tbsp oyster sauce
-minced garlic
-2 tbsp soy sauce
-3 tbsp cooking wine
-2 tbsp rice vinegar
-1/4 cup brown sugar
-3 tbsp honey
-1/2 tsp white pepper
-2 tsp corn starch
-2 tbsp roasted sesame seeds
-1/4 cup ketchup
