Chicken Karahi Recipe: Chicken - 1 kg Oil - ½ Cup Black Cardamom - 3 nos Bayleaf - 2 nos Salt - 1 ½ tsp Ginger Garlic Paste - 3 tbsp Green Chilli (slit) - 6 nos Tomato (halved) - 4 nos Water - ½ Cup Red Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp Cardamom Powder - ¼ tsp Coriander Powder - 1 tbsp Cumin Powder - 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder - 1 tsp Kasuri Methi - 2 tsp Curd - ½ Cup Coriander Leaves (finely chopped) - 3 tbsp + for garnish Ginger (julienne) - 1 tsp + For Garnish Cooking Instructions: 1. Heat the oil in a pan and add the bayleaf and black cardamom. Add the chicken and salt. Fry it for 5 minutes or until it starts to change colour. 2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chillies and saute for a few minutes to remove the raw taste of the paste. 3. Add the water to the chicken. Place the tomatoes on top, cover and cook for 10 minutes on a low flame. Remove the skins from the tomatoes. 4. Add all the powdered spices and Kasuri methi, and mix well. Add the curd. 5. Cover and cook on a low flame for 15 minutes. 6. Add the coriander leaves and ginger juliennes. Simmer for a couple of minutes and then remove from the flame. Stay connected with us!
