This video shows how to make bread malai, an easy dessert for this summer season. For this sweet recipe we just need 4 ingredients.
METHOD:
Boil half litre milk. When it starts boiling take some milk.
Add a spoon of custard powder in it.
Mix it without lumps. Add the custard milk to the boiling milk.
Stir it continuously till it thickens.
Then add six spoon sugar to it.
You can adjust the quantity of sugar according to your taste.
Mix it well. When it comes to boiling stage switch off the stove.
Allow it to cool then transfer to a bowl.
Keep it in freezer for 30 minutes to get cold custard milk.
Now fry the sweet bread in ghee.
Bread should be crispy.
Pour the cold custard milk over the bread.
Garnish with nuts and tutti frutti.
NOTES:
We can use toast bread for this recipe but fried crispy bread tastes best.
