Chewy Chocolate Chip Bars / Dessert Recipe

Chewy Chocolate Chip Bars 2 1/4 C Flour 1 1/2 tsp Corn Starch 1 tsp Baking Soda 1/2 tsp Salt 3/4 C Butter - melted & cooled 1 C Brown Sugar 1/4 C Sugar 1 Egg + 1 Egg Yolk 2 tsp Vanilla 1 C Chocolate Chips + more for topping In a large bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, corn starch & salt. Set aside In a separate bowl whisk together, egg + yolk, brown sugar, sugar, melted butter until well blended. Add in vanilla and mix well. Pour the wet ingredients into dry. Fold in chocolate chips. Line a 9 x 9 baking dish and line it with aluminum foil. Press dough into dish and top with additional chips to make it look pretty. You can also sprinkle with a pinch of kosher salt.
