Ingredients:
For masala:
Oil-1tbsp
Cubed onion-2
Cubed tomatoes-3
Bay leaf-2
Cloves-10
Pepper-10
Cinnamon-2
Cardamom-2
Cashews-15-20
Ginger garlic paste-1tsp(you can use 1/2inch ginger and 5-6garlic pods)
Water-1cup
For chicken marination:
Boneless chicken-500gms
Ginger garlic paste-1tsp
Red Chilli powder-1tsp
Salt-1/2tsp
Coriander jeera powder-1tsp
Chicken masala-1tsp
Corn flour-1/4cup
Black pepper powder-1/2tsp
Water-to make it into paste
For frying:
Oil-2tsp
Butter-1tbsp
Marinated chicken pieces
For chicken butter masala preparation
Butter-2tbsp
masala paste
Chilli powder-2tbsp
Salt-1tsp
Coriander jeera powder-1tsp
Garam masala-1tsp
Chicken masala-1tsp
Water-1cup
Fried chicken pieces
Butter-1tbsp (as per your choice)
Kasuri methi-1/2tsp
Procedure:
In a pan add 1tbsp oil add cubed onions2& tomatoes 3,bayleaf-2,cloves-10, pepper-10, cinamon-2, cardamom-2, cashews-15-20, ginger garlic paste let it fry well add 1cup water and let it boil once it thickens switch of flame
Cool it for sometime and let it cool down down for sometime blend it and keep it aside
Now in a mixing bowl add 500gms boneless chicken,1tsp ginger garlic paste,1tsp red chilli powder,1/2tsp salt, coriander jeera powder-1tsp, garam masala-1tsp, chicken masala-1tsp, 1/4cup cornflour,1/2tsp black pepper powder, mix it and add water slowly to make it into thick paste
Now in the same pan add 2tbsp oil 1tbsp butter add chicken pieces fry it well on both sides and put the lid for 5-10mts until its 70% cooked
Keep it aside
Now in same pan add 2tbsp butter, masala paste once it thickens add 2tbsp Chilli powder,1tsp salt, coriander jeera powder-1tsp,garam masala-1tsp, chicken masala-1tsp
Add 1 cup of water
Once water boils add chicken pieces and 1tbsp butter close the lid and cook for 10-15mts on low flame
Open the lid add 1/2tsp kasuri methi mix it well switch of flame
Serve it
"Chicken butter masala" is ready
