Summer has started. So here is healthy and tasty drink piyush. This is one of most requested recipe. This is made from buttermilk. This is an authentic, Maharashtrian, traditional recipe. Do try piyush in this summer and do let me know how you liked it. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 2 cups Buttermilk
• 3~4 tsp powdered Sugar
• 1/2 cup Keshar shrikhand
• 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
• 1/2 tsp Nut meg powder
• 2 tsp Keshar milk (Soak 10-12 saffron strands in 2 tsp milk)

Method:
• In a bowl take buttermilk.
• Add powdered sugar, keshar shrikhand and mix well.
• You can use thick curd in place of shrikhand.
• But then it will taste like lassi and not piyush.
• So try to use shrikhand only.
• Beat the mixture really good.
• You can decide the quantity of buttermilk according to your
choice.
• Add cardamom powder, nut meg powder, keshar milk and mix
well.
• Piyush is all ready.
• You can cool it in freeze before serving.
• Serve chilled and garnish with sliced almonds, pistachios.
