Ingredients:-
For Marination:-
500gms. Chicken
1 tsp. Cumin powder
1 tsp. Coriander powder
1 tsp. Turmeric powder
1 tbsp. Garam masala

For Sauce:-
2 tbsp. Ghee
1 Onion
1 Pepper
2 tsp. Ginger garlic paste
1 tsp. Cumin
1 tsp. Coriander powder
1 tsp. Turmeric powder
Green chillies to taste
Salt to taste
½ tin tomatoes
Water
Fresh coriander

Method:-
– Mix the chicken in marinating ingredients and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes.
– Heat ghee in a pan and saute onions until they are a bit soft.
– Then add ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt and stir.
– Now add canned tomatoes and green chillies followed by a splash of water and cook for 10 minutes on high flame.
– Once this sauce cools dowm blend it in a blender and pour it back in the pan and heat it until it bubbles.
– Take the marinated chicken out of the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature.
– Heat ghee in another pan and sear the marinated chicken in it and add green chillies, red bell pepper, onion and stir on a high flame.
– Transfer the seared chicken to the sauce and cook for 5-7 minutes.

Delicious Chicken Jalfrezi is ready to serve!
